The Ecovillage, The Mission

My life long quest for the inner light behind our physical reality has lead me to the reality that humanity revolves around its dual quest for joy and sustenance while desperately seeking the seemingly impossible goal of retaining the vitality of youth with the wisdom of the ancients. My world travels and research during the last 39. years has allowed me to realize that such seemingly diametrically opposed goals are both compatible and parallel in a delicately balanced field of human attunement, part of which has been unfolded to you at Body Ecology since 1975 and its predecessor Phoenicia Ltd. since 1969. The Piedmont Triad has shared the evolutionary growth in attunement through our personal therapies at Body Ecology since 1985.

The true secret of youth and wisdom lies in our intimate relationship with our mother Earth. Remember the healing of the blind man with mud and spittle; the suggestion that we walk our feet through the mirery clay. Remember the Earthly source of human nutrition and medicine. Remember the pyramids of ancient Egypt and America. Remember the crystal platelets in blood bone and nerve tissue. Remember the electrical synapses in brain and nerve tissue, controlled by the periodic movement of the stars and planets. Remember joyful playtimes in the land of youth. the Earth and inner quest.

All of the above experience merge at Reflective Gateways a new therapeutic spa and Ecovillage off N. C. 119 in the Virginia foothills just a gentle walk from the N. C. border. Located 25 miles east of Eden and 15 miles northwest of Roxboro where the sounds are of nature and the sky is clear, we are equidistant from the Piedmont Triad and the Raleigh Triangle. Two hours from and Ecovillage is presently under construction1 seeking your help and direction. Just seven miles south, you can find Boating and camping at Hyco Lake.

Personal and family lifetime, time sharing partnerships range from $10,000 to $20,000; or you can own your private Ecovillage within our spa center by purchasing 3 acres starting at S30,000.
