Artis E. Hinson, the second of 4 children, was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. Upon Artis Hinson

completion of High School in 1963, he moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University after a summer of sit-in demonstration in Greensboro which culminated in the March on Washington. He graduated from Howard in 1967 with a Bachelors Degree in economics. After post graduate work, he traveled around the world resulting in the founding of an import company, Phoenicia Ltd. After becoming a live food vegetarian in 1971, Art was nurtured over a four year period by Yogi Satchitanand Rajah who received his rejuvenation techniques from a 300 year old master in Nepal India.

Transforming his import business to an herb and natural food distribution network in 1975, Art began to professionally blend therapeutic essentials oils for internal healing and to counsel people on physical and spiritual evolution.

Body Ecology Attunement Center was relocated to Greensboro, NC in 1986 where it previously occupied a 6,000 sq. ft. site including lecture hall. His 200 acre Spa Therapy Center is presently under construction sixty miles northeast of Greensboro in Southern Virginia. Body Ecology Attunement Center was located in downtown Greensboro for 17 years before it was destroyed by fire in December 2001. The new store was built at his house, by the Body Ecology Family and opened in February of 2003.

We provide general healing balance through blending nature's herbal concentrates known as essential oils according to a 4,000 year old pattern based on the instruction from Imhotep and Hypocrites. We use the birth energy of you the client as the pattern for internal and external healing therapies.

Europe has embraced the practice of Aromatherapy in its mainstream medical practice. It is commonly used in hospitals, paid for by insurance companies, and is presently used by Prince Charles and Margaret Thatcher. Common sense demands that you try it.
